INSPECTORJ
"InspectorJ" is the online alias I use on various websites relating to sound effects:
As Freesound helped me with my first university project, I felt obligated to return the favour. As such, all of the sounds I upload there are completely free to download and use in any project. All I ask that the sound(s) used are credited in some way. You can see examples of how you could do this in the descriptions of my sounds.

If you would prefer to not have to credit the sound for a commercial project, then consider purchasing "InspectorJ's Freesound Library License" for £9.99 which gives you an attribution-free, royalty-free license to all of my current and future Freesound uploads under the user "InspectorJ".
The primary marketplace for all of my sound libraries, which I then list here on my website. Sellfy offers every version of my sound libraries - both 44.1kHz/16-bit, and 96kHz/24-bit - so you are free to choose whichever format is most convenient for you!

From my website, I've also uploaded free "Sample Packs" of my sound libraries containing some taster sounds, which you can find and download from each library's page on this site.
For licensing of individual sound effects, I have uploaded several sounds from my library to "Pond5" - both 44.1kHz and 96kHz - pricing all of my sounds between $2-10.

So for anyone only wanting to purchase the license for a single sound effect, I would recommend checking my current listings on Pond5 (though, of course, I would recommend even further to grab the "InspectorJ's Freesound License" instead!)
For licensing of individual sound effects and larger bundled packs, I have uploaded several sounds from my library to "AudioJungle".

So for anyone only wanting to purchase the license for a single sound effect or to discover some bundled packs, I would recommend checking my current listings on AudioJungle (though, of course, I would recommend even further to grab the "InspectorJ's Freesound License" instead!)
If you require additional options for purchasing my sound effect libraries, I have also put most of them up on the website "ASoundEffect". Only the highest quality versions are available there (e.g. 96kHz/24-bit). More download-friendly versions are available here on my website.
If you require additional options for purchasing my sound effect libraries, I have also put most of them up on the website "Sonniss". Only the highest quality versions are available there (e.g. 96kHz/24-bit). More download-friendly versions are available here on my website.
For an additional method of purchasing my libraries, or if you need to bring them directly into a Unity project, I have put them up in the "Unity Asset Store". The versions provided here are the 44.1kHz/16-bit and 96kHz/24-bit versions.
For an additional method of purchasing my libraries, or if you need to bring them directly into an Unreal Engine project, I have put them up in the "Epic Marketplace". The versions provided here are the 44.1kHz/16-bit versions only, for faster downloading and a more immediate application to Unreal projects.
If you require additional options for purchasing my sound effect libraries, I have also put most of them up on the website "GameDevMarket". Only the highest quality versions are available there (e.g. 96kHz/24-bit). More download-friendly versions are available here on my website.
For visualizations and spectrograms of some of my sound effects, as well as sound recorder comparisons and upcoming bonus sounds and videos, feel free to check out and subscribe to the "InspectorJ" YouTube channel.
What's with the name: "InspectorJ"?
2013 - 2015
2015 - 2017
2017 - present
The name originated from my time as a Wiki editor:

Inspector
Inspecting various wiki articles for errors and adding new content
J
The first letter of my name

Inspector + J = InspectorJ
Woaaah, big brain

I kept this name as I first began exploring the world of sound through Freesound.org in April 2015, where my SFX contributions remain to this day.

After the success with Freesound, I released my first commercial SFX libraries in 2017 - Piano Mallet Strikes and FX & Wooden Fence Destruction - retaining the name.

And so it has remained ever since!
