New Short Film (Livid Mortis)

I am delighted to announce a collaboration with The Animation School (South Africa), working on the music and sound effects for a new short film, Livid Mortis.
After losing his life in the ocean, Mort awakes to the grizzly sight of his body desecrated by a seemingly malicious surgeon, Viv, and is mortified by the absence of his heart. Through hijinx and mishaps, he uses his body and his organs to attempt to pursue and retrieve his heart, while she is in a desperate attempt to give the heart to her dying sister, Hope. Through his escapade in the hospital, Mort learns to let go of his past to help Hope create her future.
The short went on to win a Silver Diploma at the 2024 New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, a wonderful success for the Livid Mortis team and The Animation School.
